Apollo College has a long and proud history of assisting people to become skilled professionals who have gone on to positions of importance in their communities. Margaret M. Carlson, who continues to serve as the school’s Chief Executive Officer, founded Apollo College in June 1976. In the decades since, over 45,000 Apollo graduates have learned the skills needed for entry into a number of vital careers. For decades, Apollo College graduates have had rewarding careers in the medical and dental fields, where they have helped save lives and improve the health of many tens of thousands of people. Today, Apollo continues this tradition of outstanding education in the allied health fields, and the College now brings its reputation for excellence to the rapidly expanding field of information technology. Associate of Applied Science degree programs and certificate programs in Software Engineering and in Network and Database Administration offer the same standards of quality and dedication to preparing students for important careers that have made Apollo College a leader in career education. Apollo College programs can be completed within two months to two years, depending on the course of study. Various programs are offered in the morning, afternoon or evening to accommodate students’ scheduling needs. Class size is limited to ensure each student the personal attention required to master the subject. The campuses, located in Arizona, Oregon and Washington, are modern, comfortable facilities that provide outstanding environments for serious study and learning.

The Phoenix Campus was founded in 1976. It is located close to Metro Center, making it convenient to reach by bus. The campus consists of two freestanding buildings, an administrative area, and a beautiful courtyard. All rooms are climate-controlled for an enjoyable learning experience, even on the warmest days in Arizona.
The school is surrounded by several apartment complexes that are available to house students and are within walking distance from the campus.
Using modern equipment and computers, students are trained in Apollo’s beautiful facility. The equipment, the buildings, and the staff, make Apollo College the place to choose when considering the medical field.

The opening of the Westside Campus in Phoenix in February of 1995, marked a major milestone in the history of the Apollo Colleges. This spacious campus is architecturally pleasing and features a modern educational facility.
The Westside Campus is convenient to the Black Canyon Freeway, and affordable housing is available within walking distance of the campus. Local bus service is available, which provides an easy way to get around the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.
Students, faculty, and staff take great pride in this campus. The Westside Campus is a landmark facility, which is a reference point for travelers in the area. The programs offered at Westside provide outstanding educational opportunities for serious students, who become qualified employees upon graduation.
